1. Check if there is a sign of "stop elevator maintenance". Before coming to the elevator, passengers should check whether there is a “stop for maintenance” sign in front of the elevator. If the sign is hung, it means that the elevator is under maintenance and passengers should not take it.
2. Check for safety signs. When taking an elevator, you must first check whether there is a safety inspection mark issued by the quality and technical supervision department in the elevator, and check whether it is within the validity period. Only when both are available can you ensure safety.
3. See if it is overloaded. Elevator overload is easy to cause safety accidents. When the elevator alarms due to overload, you should take the initiative to exit and wait for the next trip to take a seat.
4. See if the operation is normal. After the elevator has stopped, passengers should pay attention to whether the elevator car floor is flush with the floor when entering and exiting the elevator. If it is not, it indicates that the elevator is malfunctioning, and the elevator user should be notified in time.
