The main function of the elevator guide shoe is to fix the position of the car and the counterweight. The concave groove of the guide shoe matches the position of the convex working surface of the guide rail.


    The guide shoe can make the car and the counterweight move up and down along the guide rail, prevent the torsion of the car and the counterweight on the traction wire rope and the deflection or swing under asymmetric load, so that the elevator door sill, A constant positional relationship is maintained between the landing door sill, the shaft wall and the various parts of the control system.


    The guide shoes are respectively installed on the car and the counterweight device. There are four guide shoes on the car frame, which are respectively installed on the four corners of the car frame, and two upper guide shoes are fixed on both ends of the car roof beam. Two lower guide shoes are fixed under the safety gear holder at the bottom of the car. There are also four guide shoes on the counterweight frame, which are respectively installed and fixed on the upper and lower parts of the counterweight frame.


    Group of guide shoes: Guide shoes can generally be regarded as consisting of toe, body and seat. A simple guide shoe can consist of a toe and a shoe. The shoe head can be fixed or movable (floating); the shoe head can be a concave groove to match the guide rail, or three rollers can be used to match the guide rail.

  

What are the characteristics of the rolling guide shoe? Where does it apply?

The rolling guide shoe consists of rollers, rocker arms, shoe seats and compression springs.


The rolling guide shoe uses three hard rubber rollers to replace the three working surfaces of the sliding guide shoe. Under the action of the spring force, the three rollers are in contact with the front and two sides of the guide rail at the same time, and are closely attached to it. When the car is running, the three rollers roll on the three working surfaces of the guide rail at the same time, and automatically compensate the geometric error caused by the manufacturing and installation of the working part of the sliding guide shoe in contact with the guide rail, so as to make the sliding guide shoe work. The sliding friction is changed to rolling friction, which effectively improves the performance of the guide shoe, reduces the friction loss, and saves the energy loss caused by friction. Vibration absorption by springs and rubber makes the car and counterweight run more smoothly and reduces the resulting noise. Rolling guide shoes are widely used in high-speed elevators with rated running speed greater than 2.0M/S due to their good slowing performance.


    The rolling guide shoe has high quality requirements for manufacturing and installation. The roller should be vertical to the working surface of the guide rail, and the rim should be fully pressed on the working surface of the guide rail. The rollers should maintain good contact with the working surface of the guide rail, and rotate flexibly. Rolling guide shoes are not like sliding guide shoes
